Where to get an apostille for a School Certificate for admission in Poland?
Today's schoolchildren decide in advance not only their future specialty and profession, but also which university they want to enroll in. For many Ukrainians, getting an education abroad, including in Poland, is promising.
Preparation for admission also includes collecting documents. Each country and educational institution has its own requirements for the package of documents. You can find out in advance what you need to provide.
Why do Ukrainians need an apostille for their School Certificate?
A general requirement of educational institutions in Poland is a document of secondary education. If a child graduated from school in Ukraine, he/she will have a state-issued School Certificate. This document is drawn up in Ukrainian. In order to use it in Europe, you need to affix an apostille stamp.
This procedure allows you to legalize a document in other countries. Poland has signed the Hague Convention, so Ukrainians only need to get an apostille in their home country, and then it can be used in Europe.
We emphasize that the apostille stamp confirms the authenticity of the signatures and seals affixed to the document. The stamp is not placed on the document, but on a separate form, which is stitched to the School Certificate. The validity period of the apostille is unlimited.
